I grew up in a neighborhood with no other children around, so until the age of 5 I only interacted with adults. This may provide all the necessary tools to understand why I am the way I am. Also I recently exhumed a psychological evaluation from age 7 and it clarified so many things that I needed another psychological evaluation. It's all a ploy by Big Psychology to sell more Social Sciences.
The extent of my creative endeavors came in fits and starts over the span of about 25 years, but began getting serious around the beginning of the Era of Social Distancing and the resultant Collapse of Society (patent pending), then proceeded to flourish after meeting a girl who is both the progeny of a stand-up comedian and is necessarily unfettered by social constructs and barriers. Be that as it may, Ms. "Why Not?" provided the activation energy necessary to get me to take the stage with some of what I had been writing for the previous ha'decade. She also was promoted during this era (or demoted, depending on which side of the bed she got out of this morning)Â to Mrs. Why Not.
Since I become a ham in moderately sized groups of people anyhow, I was sold a box of Why Not and decided to take up performing as a stand-up comic. Armed with a microphone, a brick wall, a spotlight, and a dream, I intend to ride this thing as far as it will take me. Which may be as far as the curb on trash day. Also you have no idea how hard it is to carry all these items around at all times. It makes me grateful cargo pants are making a comeback.
